ONLY APPLICABLE to non-UK Police Agencies: Apply for a VAT Concession

Your police agency will be invoiced for the cost of the training plus the standard 20% UK Value-Added-Tax charge. UK law allows a concession for waiving the VAT charge to overseas police agencies. If you are requesting that option, please check the box below and provide a PDF copy of a letter on official agency letterhead, signed by a chief officer, with the following statement sent to chief@cambridge-ebp.co.uk: ‘I hereby certify that the training purchased by our police agency from the Cambridge Centre for Evidence-Based Policing Ltd., is 1) required for our employee trainees to attend, and 2) is required in furtherance of the trainees performing their sovereign duties to their nation.’ If you cannot provide this letter, then VAT will be applied as usual.
