As part of its partnership with the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, the Cambridge Centre for Evidence-Based Policing is pleased to offer a

  •  multi-media

  • 12-month online course

  • with live one-on-one video link tutorials and a

  • hands-on, on-the-job innovation project leading to a

Certificate in Evidence-Based Policing.

Groups of 20 learners will commence this learning together, and will receive individual discussion and supervisory sessions of up to two hours each week during those 12 months. These sessions with your personal tutor will allow you to discuss the course material that you have already worked through, as well as your plans for the 9-month project you will need to complete as part of the course. These 9 months are concurrent with the course and involve 6 months of project work followed by 3 months of implementation and getting hands-on experience in convincing senior leaders in your organisation of its merits.

The cost per learner is $10,000 Canadian. Please contact our Chief Administrator on chief@cambridge-ebp.co.uk for enquiries. We look forward to hearing from you.

Alternatively, the Centre offers 2 short courses, each 10 weeks long, one for police analysts, and the other for police leaders.

They both teach how to deal with serious violence in an evidence-based way and include 1-2-1 supervision sessions with a Cambridge tutor for each learner.

The Leaders’ course costs $835 Canadian and the Analysts’ course costs $1,685 Canadian. Until 31st March 2021, however, we offer discounted rates on either course at 15% off for individual bookings and 6 places for the price of 5.
